Jackie Chan's Build a School for a Dollar

Dear Jackie,

With this letter we send you 740€ (USD $937) for your Build a School for a Dollar charity work.
During the last four years we raised 5804 € (USD $7,352) and even exceeded our personal goal of 5000 €.
That is nearly 10% of a whole school! We are very happy and there were hundreds of children and parents who helped us. And behind all, there is our own dream to show children and their families Chinese language and Chinese culture.

On May 21, 2011, we held our 8th Day of Calligraphy and raised in this way 150 €. Ingrid taught a 12 year old girl Chinese, so she could participate in our regular Chinese courses. Though Ingrid did not want money for this, the parents gave her 100€ for your Charity. Our friend Gabi sold Anouk’s old books and thereby earned 280 € and another 210 € was raised with our Chinese Calligraphy stones. We always feel happy to see children writing calligraphy or buying our Calligraphy stones. You can see the fascination and interest for this culture in their eyes.
