Many greetings from Germany from Ute.

In January I celebrated my 60th birthday. When my friends asked me for special gifts, I told them to give me only money. It was my wish to help Jackie to build a school for the children in China and I wanted to donate all the money for the school project.

The party was great. Many relatives, friends and neighbors celebrated this day together with me (Silke and her family from Leipzig were also among my guests). After the party I counted all the money from the envelopes and was very surprised to find there the amount of 620 Euro (approximately 825 $US). I've donated this money with my husband's credit card today. It is my wish to help many children with that money to get a better education for a better future like my sponsored child Xiao Quin in China, whom I can help through the organisation Plan International Germany.

At my birthday party were almost 50 persons, who have celebrated this day together with me. We started with the party at 7 p.m. and the end was near 3 a.m. in the morning. We had so much fun with talking, making funny games, watching a funny theater performance, dancing, singing songs together and so on. The eldest guest was in the age of 86 and the youngest girl was only 4 years. It was a wonderful party! I promise to do the same again, when I turn 70!

In every case it was a big pleasure for me to help Jackie with the donation and I will try to find more ideas too in the further time to help.
