WINNERS OF BIRTHDAY CONTEST, 2007
Some of you may wonder how we picked the winners of this contest. Well, we knew that Jackie would be very busy this year at his birthday, so we decided to put the vote to the JC Group staff members. We put the cards on a table in the conference room at our office and asked anyone who was available to come in and vote for their favorites! Congratulations to all the winners. (If you sent in a birthday card that was computer generated, don't worry! We printed these out and included them in the voting.)

(In case you're wondering about Daniel's winning card: The picture of Jackie is made from hundreds of small stips of paper which are weaved together to form a photo. It is very unique and probably took many hours to complete.)

A NOTE FROM THE WEBMASTER ABOUT THE CONTEST VOTING:

This year, not only did we receive more birthday cards for Jackie than ever, but the level of creativity that went into them was stunning! It was very very difficult for our staff to pick their favorites because they loved all the cards! They were amazed by the beautiful drawings, poems, and notes that you sent with the cards. (We considered adding a section for "Honorable Mentions" for this contest, but there would be way too many to fit on the page.)
And the donations! The majority of people who sent a card also sent a donation for the Build a School project. You will be quite excited to hear what the total is for Jackie's birthday this year. When Jackie returns to Hong Kong we will do our best to get a photo of him with the birthday cards and we will also show him all the money you've sent.
Finally, if you don't see your card posted on our website, it most likely is because it arrived at our office the week after Jackie's birthday and we were just overwhelmed with the number of cards that came in. We will try to make sure that all the cards are visible if we get a photo of Jackie with the cards.
Thank you to everyone who sent in a card. Thank you for your notes, drawings, letters and donations. We will do our best to make sure that Jackie gets to hear what you have to say to him!
